This year, the Coronado PTSA will fund $1,000 merit scholarships and $200 honorable mention scholarships in each of the following areas: Academics, Arts, Community Service, Sportsmanship, Vocational, and "Against All Odds."

The scholarships are available to CHS Seniors who will be graduating by July 2012 and are members of the CHS PTSA, to help offset the costs of pursuing additional education.

The minimum GPA for the Academic scholarship category is 95, and a minimum GPA of 70 is required for all of the other scholarship categories.

Applications are available in the Counseling Office, with an application deadline of March 22, 2012. Please direct any questions to Ms. Dawn Cornell in the Counseling Center (dmcornel@episd.org) or myself.

Seniors are encouraged to take advantage of this generous opportunity provided by the PTSA.
